CD Description : This DVD features a special live performance in Rome in 1989 by a group of legendary artists who have always been at the forefront of rock and roll since its early days in the 1950s. Featuring the late Ray Charles, B.B. King, James Brown, Little Richard, Bo Diddley, Jerry Lee Lewis and Fats Domino, the too-gorgeous line-up performed songs such as I Feel Good, I'm A Man, Fireball Rock,. How Blue Can You Get’ and “Blueberry Hill”. Although they are all old, the energy that flows out of them is so powerful you can't say they are retro. The backing band of Dave Edmonds, Chuck Revere and Phil Cheng, who also acts as banmouth, is superb. Fifteen songs are condensed into a total of 60 minutes, leaving no time to even catch your breath. The Italian audience is also an all-standing, big crowd contest. Even without taking the weight of history into account, you can't help but dance to this super show by top entertainers!
