CD Description : If you are reading this review, you probably like Abba, but for those who are not yet fans of Abba. Abba is a Swedish supergroup. This is a collection of their many happy, fun video clips. All are recorded in the same tone (even 'Fernando', which sparked their popularity), but their charm is intact. Fans will get a kick out of these vintage clips. It shows you who is the most natural in front of the camera (Agneta), who is the best dancer (Anni Fried aka Frida), who is the most reserved (Benny) and who is the worst lip-syncer (Björn). Who is the most reserved (Benny) and who is the worst lip-syncer (Björn)? The video, directed by future Oscar-nominated filmmaker Lasse Hallström, The video, directed by future Oscar-nominated filmmaker Lasse Hallström, captures their natural charm in all its glory. Abba's style and songs began to show a decline when they tried to introduce electronic sounds in the 1980s. But from nostalgic songs like 'Waterloo' and 'Take a Chance on Me' to 'The Day Before You Came' from this show recorded at the Royal Swedish Opera House, 'Dancing Queen' (and she's wearing a period costume), all I can say is thank you for leaving us this music and video.(Mark Englehard, Amazon.com)
