In October 2006, The Who released their first new original album in 24 years, Endless Wire, and embarked on a long-awaited US tour. This film was recorded live in Toronto, Canada on 17 December 1982, from the band's extensive North American continental tour that took place between October and December 1982. After Pete Townsend's declaration of the band's break-up in the same year, they performed to the maximum to make it a culmination of the band's career. A total of 22 songs, starting with the smash hit My Generation and ending with Young Man Blues and Twist and Shout! This stage, full of iconic songs in a huge stadium, received the highest praise from the fans. This is truly a great live show that will live on in the telling. |
