| CD Description : Released in 1973 as his fourth album, this work stands as Yousui Inoue's early masterpiece. It opens with a stunning medley from <1> to <3>. The title track <5>, influenced by Stevie Wonder, is unusually funky and hard-hitting for Japan at the time. Other high-energy tracks include the famous <8>. But the standout is undoubtedly the collaboration with Kiyoshiro Imawano, <3>. It's a masterpiece among masterpieces, brilliantly capturing the lyricism and anxiety of young lovers. The lineup of participating musicians is also incredibly luxurious: his close friend Masaru Hoshi, Haruomi Hosono, Naoya Matsuoka, Masayoshi Takakou, Tatsuo Hayashi, and Shuichi Murakami.
