CD Description : This is a raging Eichan clip attack, packed with 32 songs (in chronological order) spanning 19 years. One would have thought it would be a bit too hot and heavy, but as the title suggests, it's a collection of well-made short films that can be enjoyed in its own right. The first few clips, for example, were shot in the early days of video clips, and it is clear that Yazawa himself was aware of the newness of this medium, which is neither a mere record of live performances nor a scaled-down reproduction of TV dramas. We were first of all smitten by Yazawa, who was not austere and wild, but young and glamorous. But then, in the salaryman trilogy of (9), (10) and (11), the old man puts the zest into himself.
