| CD Description : Coupling two albums by an Australian electric band that gained popularity in Japan and tried their hand at popular songs! Their first album in Japan was probably "This is Rock" released in 1964 on King Records' Seven Seas label. was probably the first appearance of their albums in Japan. (a compilation based on "Classics Of Rock" released at a festival in 1963).A combination of vocalist + rock combo, He was introduced as a rockabilly artist, to put it somewhat crudely. Col. Joey and his party came to Japan in May '65 and released "This is Electric Beat" (under the name "Tears on a Train"), which covered "Murder on Tenth Avenue", "Diamond Head" and "Tears on a Train". (under the name "Col. Joey and his group"), and "Electric Guitar in Tokyo," which targeted (expanded?) fans of Japanese popular songs. Electric Guitar in Tokyo" (under the name "Kol Joey and his group") and "Electric Guitar in Tokyo" ("Kol Joey and his group") (On his return to Japan in 1966, he again tackled Japanese songs on "Young Japanese Hits".
